Troop! Order of the Arrow elections are this Sunday, 3/26, during our meeting. We need you there to vote for our scouts elible to join OA (First class rank and enough camping nights). There will be a presentation that explains what OA is and how voting works.

Dripping Springs Ranch Park applied & received a grant for 50 native seedlings and an additional 13 native seedlings grown in my garden. The 1 gallon seedlings arrive on November 1st. We have set a date for November 5th to plant them in an area that has a few existing trees which will need both a sound and visual barrier from future residential developments. The park staff has invited a couple different youth groups, 4-H and Agricultural students to help in this endeavor. If you know of any scouts who are willing and able to join us with this project please let me know. The goal is to plant 63 seedlings with compost, root stimulator and mulch.

We will have order of the Arrow elections at the beginning of this week's troop meeting. We must have 50% of active scouts to run the election. Please plan to attend.
