Troop - the deadline to sign up for our August Campout (8/26-8/28) is June 18th. Please RSVP as we need an exact headcount for the canoe/kayak/camping reservations!
Our kayaking campout was great and it was fantastic to see all the scouting faces at last Sunday’s meeting! As we all get back into the groove of school and extracurriculars I’d like to remind you all of a few things:
We leave from the Evans Family home on Saturday. Breakfast will be served starting at 8 am and then we will hike to the Ryza family home for one night of camping.
Please check your registration for the backpacking campout and make sure you are registered for the one night or two night version. We will be planning the logistics at the troop meeting and parent meeting this weekend so plan to attend.
We are going backpacking in Colorado Bend State Park this weekend. Meet at the VFW on Friday at 6 pm. It will take us 2 hours to get there so try to be at the VFW as close to 6pm as possible.
Moving forward I need all families to have access to at least adult band and hopefully scout band as well. I think this will make answering casual questions easier because when you post there anyone can answer instead of going through the Committee chair and the scoutmaster.
